Grief deserves to be tended.
Tending grief means acknowledging it, feeling it, and holding it — together as a community — like the strong banks of a river that allows the river to move and flow. When we honor our grief, and let it move as it wishes, it washes out our heart and makes us more able to love.
This simple community ritual is held on the shores of the Great Salt Lake; our very own lake of tears.
I am really excited to have the wonderful Erin Geesaman Rabke co-facilitating this spring's Community Grief Tending Ritual with me.
This event is free. Just come as you are and bring a friend.
We will meet in the grassy area behind The Great Saltair at 6:00 pm. Allow 45 minutes to drive from Salt Lake City.
